Job Description
To assist primarily in the IT Support side of the business including but not limited to:
- Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues via remote assistance
- Performing software updates to proactively managed customer machines
- Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues via on-site visits
Computer Support
- To Install and maintain customers IT equipment
- To Install and maintain customers network infrastructures
- Check customers devices for issues and resolve where possible both remotely and on site
- Ensure all data backups being performed for customers are completed on a regular basis
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- To assist customers with software and hardware installations
Website Development
- Ensure all websites being hosted are up-to date and secure
- To create and manage website hosting and relevant email accounts
- To assist and resolve any issues customers may have with their hosting or email service
- Assist customers with any website development queries, including but not limited to content updates and design alterations
- Ensure regular backups of our hosting server(s) are being performed without errors
Administration Tasks
- Maintain a log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
- To maintain a knowledge base where articles are written to help diagnose issues and record resolutions
- Ensure customer information is up-to date
- Ensuring all software purchased and any associated licensing is recorded and maintained
- Purchase any required equipment liaising with the Managing Director

Skills Required :
- Knowledge on Windows based operating systems is a must and knowledge of active directory and networking is preferable
Future Prospects :
On successful completion of the apprenticeship scheme the candidate will be considered for a permanent role within the company. There will then be potential to move up in the company and progress to a more senior role in the future.
