Job Description

Due to their continued success and growth they now have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their dynamic, highly skilled and motivated workforce.

Duties:



You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:




  • Provide 1st Line IT Support 

  • Ensure all incidents are logged in our Helpdesk Software promptly and accurately

  • Configuration and installation of hardware and software

  • Escalating issues to 2nd line support or field engineers as needed

  • Maintenance of the technology databases


Personal Qualities :

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

  • Confidence to speak with clients on the phone.



Skills Required :

  • Knowledge of Windows based operating systems, Microsoft Office and helpdesk software.

  • Driving licence and access to own car due to the location of the role.



Future Prospects :

Upon completion of the 15 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
