Job Description
Nature of Work:
This is an interesting and varied role where you will be able to learn and hone your skills in all aspects of office administration.
- You would be working in a small but busy sales office where team work is important
- You will be required to help with all basic office duties from filing and emailing to answering the phone
- You will be able to expand your computer skills using Microsoft office and the company's bespoke software program
- You will be trained to use the VoIP telephone system
- Processing customer orders and dealing with customer requests
- There will be an opportunity to learn basic book-keeping skills within the accounts department
- Being able to drive would be beneficial but not essential
Personal Qualities :
- You will be committed and motivated to complete NVQ assignments
- Excellent communication skills as you will be discussing applications with customers and the manufacturing team
- Good telephone manner essential
- Good team worker
- Enthusiastic
- Hardworking and dedicated
Skills Required :
- Good ICT and practical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage own workload and prioritise
- Ability to switch between projects when required and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
