Job Description
Carry out filing, back filing & basic excel data entry & report to Finance Manager in accounts. To be trained up to answer the phone, take calls & help plan/deploy work to technicians, reporting to general manager. Additional training from our Head Office in Birmingham available. Basic quickbooks date entry training. Some social media (Facebook) posts, other office duties such as franking, ordering stationary, taking minutes in meetings etc. Further training would be given on the job deployment system, there is also a chance to learn how to do the health & safety, IOS9001 & human resources if the candidate is interested & capable. We want an all round person who is happy and capable of having a go at all office duties and finding their niche within our office. The candidate needs to be able to work on their own & also with the Finance Manager & interact with the outside staff. The office is small & fairly informal & there is scope to try lots of things & make their role permanent if they can take on the job deployment/dispatch (CSR) part.
Personal Qualities :
- Generally likeable.
- Capable of dealing with talking to people over the phone.
Skills Required :
An ability to communicate effectively with customers, supplier and staff at all levels.
Future Prospects :
On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a job role.
