Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Managing Director with any tasks he may set
- Answer all incoming calls, emails & social messages
- Direct enquiries to the relevant departments
- Send weekly reports to relevant departments
- Deal with employee queries
- Comply with all health and safety policies, measures, legislation & film licensing codes of conduct
- Assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements where required
- Report and record all accidents & significant incidents correctly
- Report all safety matters to the Manager or Managing Director
- Checking daily wind conditions for each location and reporting directly with site managers
Customer Service & Safety
- Assist with customer enquiries & bookings
- Welcome customers and prepare them to take part in the events
Ensure all customers:
- Are of the correct age for the film
- Have an enjoyable experience
- Instruct and brief customers in the safety procedures while attending our events
Maintain customer satisfaction, which includes:
- Ensuring all customers are safe
- Catering to customers’ needs as best as physically possible
- Ensuring fast responses to all enquires
- Being polite and welcoming at all times
- Maintain good knowledge base about films & our cinemas in general
- Do everything within reason to minimise customer complaints and maximise customer satisfaction

Personal Qualities :
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work and Risk Assessment
- Adaptable with ability to get on with a wide variety of given tasks
- High energy levels with cheerful disposition and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
- Must be able to travel if required
- Previous receptionist experience
Skills Required :
- Must be punctual, with a professional outlook, able to work under own initiative without supervision
- Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
- Enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in an unusual business environment
- Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and follow company procedures
- Good level of existing IT skills
