Job Description

This Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core are work preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high-quality work experience placement.



During the Traineeship the candidate will be: 




  • Shadowing curriculum PE and extra-curricular Sport/Dance sessions

  • Assisting with administration and marketing tasks



The ideal candidate would either have access to own transport or be willing to use public transport to access various schools.



You will receive £100 per week to cover your expenses.

Are you eligible?




  • Are you currently not in a job? Do you have little or no work experience?

  • Are you aged 16 to 24 and qualified below Level 3 (A level)?


Personal Qualities :

  • Be reliable, tolerant and determined.

  • Responsible and accountable.

  • Be able to get on with others and be a team-player.

  • No criminal convictions or cautions.



Skills Required :

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Reliable with strong time management.

  • Confident communicator.

  • Self-motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching children.



Future Prospects :

After successful completion of the Traineeship course, you will receive a certificate for your qualification, an exit interview with your work placement and a letter of reference upon request to support future job applications. All candidates will have the opportunity to interview for Apprenticeship programmes available.



Opportunities following a Traineeship could include a paid Apprenticeship, leading into Full Time Employment, progression onto a college course, or work.
