What is the Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship?

The Civil Service Fast Track is a 2-year, level 4 apprenticeship. It offers you a permanent job in the Civil Service. You can choose one of 6 apprenticeships, each within a Civil Service profession, so whatever your interests there’s a career that’s right for you.

What is the Fast Track Finance Apprenticeship?

As a Finance Fast Track Apprentice, you will join Government Finance, a community of around 10,000 finance professionals. It’s an exciting time to join us as we;

  • build an expert finance function in government
  • share our expertise – working together through centres of excellence and knowledge networks
  • continuously improve the way we work.

On this challenging and rewarding programme you will work with finance specialists to achieve strong financial management, ensuring value for money for the taxpayer.

You will ‘earn and learn’, studying for a level 4 Finance qualification, gaining valuable experience and skills to set you up for the rest of your finance career.

Qualifications

  • What qualifications do you need to apply?

    You’ll need 5 GCSEs, at grades C and above, or the new grade 4 and above, including English Language and Maths, or equivalent. (Or expect to have these qualifications by 31 August 2018.)
