Job Description
Who are EY?
EY is one of the biggest and most exciting professional services firms in the world. But what does “professional services” actually mean, and what do we really do?
Our people use their business skills to advise our clients on how they can make better decisions on how their businesses are run. We work with small business owners, huge multinational organisations, exciting start-ups – even governments.
Apprenticeship Details:
If you enjoy following processes and have a great eye for detail then consider joining our apprenticeship programme in Assurance (Accounting).
Our Assurance teams look closely at the numbers behind our clients’ businesses to give them, their investors, and market regulators a clear picture of what’s going on in their business. Our work helps everybody make good, confident decisions about companies.
Our training programme lets you join EY straight after school or college – just as some of our directors and partners did. You’ll go straight into a full-time job with a starting salary of up to £21,500, giving you independence and responsibility – without going to university first. When you qualify, you’ll have the same professional qualification you’d normally study for after university, and you’ll earn this sooner than a graduate, with the same career options to look forward to.
You’ll be given challenging work on a diverse range of projects and clients, developing a host of transferable skills, and receive on-the job coaching to support you and ensure that you reach your potential. And with opportunities across the UK you’ll receive the same world-class training and experience no matter which UK office you join.
Some of the things our Assurance people do:
- Support fraud investigations
- Study climate change and sustainability performance
- Analyse business performance
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the EY Business Apprenticeship in Assurance you should be studying towards, and expect to attain, three A-levels/five Scottish Highers, or equivalent.
Deadline: April 27th, 2018
