Job Description

The Scottish Event Campus is Scotland's premier venue for concerts, events, conferences and exhibitions. The campus comprises of the SSE Hydro, the SEC Armadillo and the SEC Centre. The company enjoys an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues with the SSE Hydro consistently ranked in the top 3 busiest venues in the world by attracting over 1.1 million visitors each year.

We are currently looking for a pro-active and ambitious Staffing Officer to support our Catering Team.

Your main duties will be as follows:

GREAT PEOPLE

•Ensure personnel files are maintained at all times
•Liaise with the Operations Team to ensure that a great service is provided
•Attend all Team Meetings
•Assist with and contribute to all recruitment plans and strategy
•Assist with recording training files and materials
•Assist with the maintenance of Recruitment and Training administration
•Assist with Recruitment Events and ad hoc recruitment tasks

GREAT SERVICE

•Ensure all events are fully staffed by booking and sourcing staff when required
•During operational days ensure all check in/out procedures are met
•Utilise social media to increase staff engagement and attendance
•Ensure correct records are made and details are filed in accordance to company/unit procedures
•Assist with the maintenance of efficient filing and follow up system
•Be aware of and adhere to legal and company regulations relating to the following areas: Health and Safety at work, Food and Hygiene Regulations and Fire Procedures
•Assist with design and distribution of recruitment and marketing material
•Assist with maintenance of induction plans for casual workers
•Liaise with both candidates and Operations Team to ensure great candidate/customer experience

GREAT RESULTS

•Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by all casual workers and employees
•Processing of payroll for all variable workers
•Recommend improvements for within the department
•Provide employee feedback to the People Operations Manager
•Assist with all recruitment and training reporting
•Filing of all the recruitment and training files as required
•Actively chase and process references for new starters
