Job Description
We are looking to offer a Procurement Apprenticeship at our Bardon Hill Office in Coalville, Leicestershire. Working in close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders; key responsibilities and deliverables for the role include, but are not limited to supporting the Category Manager with:
- Managing tendering, contracts and negotiation strategy, in line with Procurement plans; manage the tender/supplier selection/contract award and implementation process ensuring effective communication is maintained throughout.
- Achieving strong, collaborative, and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensuring that department and individual performance targets are achieved through the maintenance of monthly progress reports.
- Conducting regular risk assessments for all Procurement managed category.
- Ensuring all key information on Procurement databases are maintained and kept up-to-date at all times.
- Supply chain management to ensure Purchase to pay KPI’s are achieved.
- Provide category expertise to the operational divisions to build their annual budgets.
Personal Qualities :
The individual must have the ability of strong IT skills, primarily in Excel, and with some knowledge and understanding of the industry and customer service delivery
Skills Required :
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and has the capability to lead and manage multiple projects effectively without compromise to quality. A strong communicator with the ability to communicate via various formats including presentation, email and telephone, at all levels of management. Good written English with competent use in Microsoft Office; experience of Google Drive is desirable but not essential.

Progression within the organisation is available for the candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
