Job Description
The Apprentice will have the opportunity to work with and care for children 0-8 years. Support will be offered and opportunities to work alongside other Practitioners that have key children.
You will be required to:
- To learn about and support children's development and to provide opportunity for them to learn through a range of activities within the setting.
- To learn the processes to assess and observe children and move them onto the next stages of their development.
- Support the children's routine and enviroment. Maintain confidentiality within and outside the setting.
- Support the delivery of the Early Years framework.
- Support and liaise with other team members.
- Follow and uphold all nursery policies including Safeguarding and Health & Safety.
- Build appropriate relationships with the children in the setting, whilst maintaining a professional attitude.
- Conform with nursery dress code and rules.
- Take direction from the management team, work as part of a team.
