Job Description

Locations: London, Guildford, Gatwick, Luton, Reading, Chelmsford



To provide professional driving services across a range of key customers.



This role will include a developed learning programme which will run for around 12-18 months and will equip the individual to become an ambassador for the industry, the brand and the goods that you carry



As an LGV Apprentice you will be working with our experienced team on a daily basis to build your skills and knowledge as an LGV Driver whilst studying towards the LGV Apprenticeship qualification. As part of this training programme you will attain your Cat C licence along with other valuable skills that will ensure you become a valued driver working in a variety of our Client's contracts. The Apprenticeship scheme is run in partnership with System Group and on successful completion of the course you will become a fully qualified LGV driver.



Responsibilities and Duties




  • Fully comply with appropriate legislation and regulations, maintaining the Health and Safety and Security of people at all times

  • Assist an experienced driver in the daily duties in order to become a proficient driver

  • Work under own initiative to complete deliveries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Liaise with the Traffic Office and other internal departments and colleagues

  • Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed in full and on time

  • Effectively plan the most economical route to minimise waste and loss and adapt accordingly when situations arise outside of normal routine



Future Prospects :

  • Professional LGV Driver Licence Cat C Licence Once qualified you will be working for one of the premier logistics business in the UK
