Job Description
This is an exciting business to join a well-established construction firm working within their insurance department. There are multiple businesses within the group with high dependency on an inhouse insurance department.
The apprentice will learn a wide range of aspects within the insurance sector and will be a vital link between the business and insurers.
Main purpose of the role:
- Efficient and effective support to the Group Insurance Department.
- Providing service to internal Operating Companies.
- Assist the Insurance Advisor(s) and Group Insurance Manager as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the team inbox, diary and calendar.
- Setting up claim files and initial incident notification to insurers.
- Basic certificate and coverage amendment requests.
- Supporting the delivery of service to internal stakeholders.
- Drafting agenda & actions from departmental team meeting.
- Assistance with annual insurance renewal as required.
Personal Qualities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
- IT Literate.
- Problem solving.
Skills Required :
- Good Communication Skills.
- Good IT Skills.
- Desirable - Experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
