Job Description
Duties include:
- To learn how to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0 – 5 years
- To provide a high quality experience for all children. To help to provide a stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors
- To participate in delivering an appropriate play based EYFS curriculum using children’s interest
- To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children and staff
- To help ensure the environment meets Ofsted requirements at all times
- To undertake designated tasks as directed to a high standard
- To support qualified staff with daily routines in the nursery
- To support and promote diversity and equality
- To understand and work within the nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection/safeguarding issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
- To liaise with parents and carers, when required, under the direction of qualified staff
