Job Description
The successful applicant will study towards and apprenticeship in Food and Beverage Service and will include on and off job training to cover the following;
- Working Effectively as Part of a Team.
- To provide a quick, efficient and above all friendly service to the guests at all times, so that the highest standards of service are achieved.
- To be efficient and knowledgeable of menus, recipes, wines and drinks.
- To be aware of customers’ needs and expectations.
- To assist in ensuring that the Tea Room is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
- To prepare and equip the Tea Room - including tables and service areas.
- To be aware of all company fire procedures and exits and Health and Safety procedures.
- Completing company documents.
- Food allergens legislation.
- Stock monitoring.

Day to day the apprentice will be supported by an allocated mentor who will be on hand to provide advice and guidance in addition to the Training Advisor from Smart Training and Recruitment.
Personal Qualities :
- A friendly and enthusiastic personality with an interest or passion for service would be ideal.
Skills Required :
- Successful applicant will be a good communicator, be able to work using own initiative and also as part of a team with a willingness to learn.
