Job Brief
As a Plate Waiter, you will need to see the world through our customer’s eyes and will be required to provide a safe, friendly environment for all customers whilst delivering an efficient and energetic plate waiting service.
Location
Plate Waiter roles exist in all Hospitality settings including all our corporate suites and chalets, as well as our Members’ and Debenture Holders’ dining areas.
Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Laying up and preparing tables and service points for the service of meals and functions in accordance with FMC and Client requirements.
- Ensuring that adequate stocks and refreshments are laid out for service periods and prepared for service areas to FMC and Client standards.
- Taking food orders and up-sell any additional products where possible.
- Serving all meals efficiently with the correct food service knowledge.
- Carrying out all necessary waiting duties as required by FMC standards
- Serving wine and drinks at the bar or tables as directed by your Management team.
- Delivering checks and collect payments where applicable.
