Job Description
Highlights
- Gain expertise in pricing/executing trades and structuring products
- Pick up first-hand experience on different trading and structuring desk
- Work alongside, and be coached by, experts as well as a designated supervisor
During your internship in one of our Trading and Structuring teams, you will gain a great knowledge of Markets and front office roles within the bank. Day-to-day, you will spend most of your time working closely with senior members of Trading and Structuring. But you will also have exposure to our legal, compliance and quantitative teams. That means that, whilst you can expect a steep learning curve, you’ll also learn about everything from exotic product pricing to proprietary index development, as well as marketing and managing risk of the team’s trading books. From the start, you will be given your own project to work on.
How you'll develop
As well as enjoying extensive exposure on the trading floor, you’ll experience most of the business areas we cover as you rotate. From day one, you’ll start building the know-how to get your internship off to a flying start, including how we price and execute trades for our clients. And you’ll always be able to count on support from senior in-house experts as well as a designated supervisor who’ll work closely with you and monitor your progress. Performance coaching, social events and the chance to take part in projects outside of Trading and Structuring will also help you expand your network and develop. Do well and, at the end of the Summer, we may offer you a place as a full-time Analyst.
