The Commis Chef Apprenticeship is for anyone looking to start a new career in the kitchen. During this programme you will gain experience across all parts of the kitchen as a Commis Chef you will be responsible
- For the preparation and cooking of all menu items.
- Furthermore your duties will include assisting the other chefs in the team in order to make sure the correct food standard is produced.
- Be responisble for Food Safety
- Be responsible for Health & Safety
- Keeping on top of your homework issued by the training provider
- Helping with daily and weekly cleaning procedures

Reliable, honest, trustworthy, good common sense and a passion for food.
Skills Required :
Good communication skills
Future Prospects : You will be working towards a full time position should one be available at the end of your Apprenticeship
