Job Description
You will be working in the front of house area of the business and ensuring that customer service is second to none. You will be preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold food and drinks to customers and ensuring the smooth running of the business on a daily basis. Your main duties are listed below but this list is not exhaustive and flexibility within this job role is key.
- Learn the business over a period of time, gaining the knowledge and skills to prepare and serve hot and cold drinks and food
- Monitoring service skills to ensure consistent quality and portion size with hot and cold food items
- Maintain the standards of food hygiene and personal hygiene and cleanliness to comply with the Food Safety Act
- Setting up and cleaning of the servery area (hygiene is an extremely important factor in food service and this will be a major part of your daily work)
- Helping out with all tasks including setting up the relevant areas, preparing and clearing the counter and maintaining and dealing with payments
- Ensure the servery area is compliant with food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times
- Working in a small team so excellent communication skills will be required

Future Prospects : £4.50 minimum wage with the potential for an increase dependant on age and ability. Possibility of full time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
