Job Description
Duties:
- To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch by email or post with accuracy and attention for detail.
- To administer electronic and paper filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures required by the firm.
- General office duties as instructed.
- Processing documents and maintaining IT files and records.
- Input and accessing data and accessing accounts and other information.
- To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information.
- To undertake keyboard data entry as required.
- To undertake specific training associated in progressing the apprenticeship, and such other training as required by the firm to fulfil the role.
- To open and close client matter files.
- To answer client calls - via telephone and in person.
- To provide support to other support staff as required.
Requirements
- Provide high quality administrative support service to the legal team, providing appropriate and timely services to maximise income.
- Maintain good relationships, gaining confidence and that of other professionals and clients.
- Be able to provide first point of contact for client's calls.
