Job Description

You will be assisting with and working within the sales and administration team primarily, therefore the role would suit someone who is analytical, committed to excellence and has an eye for detail.



The role can be demanding and the successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, will excel at working in a small team and be able to work face to face with customers on occasions.



The successful candidate will show the ability to work well in a team and apply themselves to the learning programme as well as being capable and confident working on their own and on the phone making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls.



The successful candidate will also have knowledge, experience or a keen desire to excel in one or more of the following areas (the exact  role will be built around the key skill areas of a successful candidate)




  • The Music Industry

  • Events Planning and/ or management

  • Live Music

  • Music composition and song writing

  • Business to business sales

  • Business to consumer sales

  • TV, film and theatre music composition



A large part of the administrator part of the job involves:




  • Completing administration paperwork for company and client

  • Maintaining and updating out database, marketing lists and helping in their creation

  • Managing diaries of people we work with

  • Liaising with Music Publishers and similar for the exploitation of the copyright works held under our control

  • Any other administrative task which may be required



A large part of the sales part of the job involves:




  • Making outbound calls and follow-ups to emails

  • Attending networking events

  • Handling inbound sales opportunities and passing them to the relevant person in the business as required

  • To provide after sales support to customers

  • To manage client feedback and to keep in regular touch with clients (Old & New) to be always up to date with their changing requirements in order to identify new sales opportunities.

  • Any other sales role which may be needed

Apprentices must show commitment to the following:




  • To achieve apprentice framework (Key Skills, NVQ and Technical Certificate) within the specified time frame

  • Attend the apprenticeship induction programme

  • Attend all of the training sessions for the programme whenever necessary

  • Undertake any other required development work as part of the apprenticeship programme as requested

  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by senior staff.

  • To complete training assignments and maintain a student portfolio, which will be assessed by an assessor

  • Framework.

    Apprenticeship start throughout the year and are open to any age of candidate.
