Job Description
Reporting to the Commercial Director, general daily duties handled through the office are as follows:
- Pro-forma invoices and quotations
- Sales order entry
- Despatch paperwork (UK and export)
- Export documentation including EUR1, Letters of Credit etc. (training is available)
- Invoicing Purchasing - including creation of purchase orders and understanding stock levels
- Business partner records
Other daily tasks expected in this role are as follows:
- Customer enquiry handling
- General office duties such as filing and document archiving
- Correspondence with worldwide Customers/Agents/Distributors
- Incoming telephone call answering (shared task)
- Post - opening, distribution and taking nightly post (shared task)
- File archiving
- Correspondence with suppliers
- Open quotation/lead follow-up
- New sales lead generation by telephone and email
- Day to day liaison between internal sales team/production/stores
- Correspondence with couriers and shipping agents
- Hospitality for meetings
