Job Description
Develop skills, knowledge and experience in the maintenance, repair and management of the machinery fleet and efficient running of the workshop, stock control and general associated facilities.
Key Responsibilities;
- The post holder will attend college to undertake Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- To assist in the maintenance of the machinery fleet to the highest possible condition enabling the machinery to operate at its maximum efficiency by carrying out the duties as directed by the Workshop Manager.
- To follow the safe working practices implemented by Senior Team Members ensuring the safety of all staff, visitors and contractors.
- Key Tasks, under supervision:
- To participate in the implementation of daily work programmes as devised and instructed by the Workshop Manager.
- Identify a programme of personal training and development.
- To support and promote all environmental policies and recycling of materials.
- To ensure personal protective equipment and uniforms are maintained to the standard required.
- To participate in regular Personal Performance Reviews according to the policy of the Club.
- To follow instruction on maintenance and servicing plans of all items of machinery set out by the Workshop Manager.
- To ensure the workshop and surrounding area is maintained as a tidy working environment.
- To contribute to the achievement of Courses and Estate Objectives and uphold the Gerrards Cross GC values.
- To ensure all machinery is maintained in a clean, well-functioning, condition wherever possible.
- To regularly check and report on stock levels and advise the Workshop Manager as necessary.
