OIEG is a rapidly growing organisation that requires a Recruitment Operations Coordinator to work in its Junior Programmes Division to coordinate staff recruitment activity for its seasonal residential programmes. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who combines outstanding people skills, project management experience with a sound knowledge of residential language education programmes.Opportunity

Oxford International is a well-established and highly successful business renowned for providing exceptionally high quality education and educational travel provision for well over twenty years. Oxford International’s journey over this time is a story of rapid development which has been fuelled by organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Central to the organisation’s growth has been the success of our Junior Residential programmes for young learners. Students attending these programmes are aged 12 to 17 years old and typically visit the UK for 2 to 4 weeks. OIEG Juniors is an acknowledged leading course provider in this area of education, welcoming 10,000 students per year on to its courses. To successfully deliver our courses we need to recruit 400 seasonal staff, comprising Centre Manager, Teachers and Activity Leaders.

The Role
Reporting to the Recruitment Development Manager, the Recruitment Operations Coordinator will play a key role in hiring our seasonal staff.

Tasks will include:
 Planning and managing staff advertising campaigns
 Screening, shortlisting and interviewing applicants
 Monitoring application to appointment conversion so that centres are optimally staffed
 Carrying out pre and post appointment employee administration such as taking references, carrying out DBS checks, issuing contracts and gathering payroll information
 Organising staff training days
 Maintaining regular contact with applicants and employees to maximise applicant to employee conversion
 Responding to applicant and employee enquiries

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
 The ability to establish rapport and credibility with job applicants
 An enthusiasm to innovate and develop effective job advertising campaigns
 Strong administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a varied workload
 Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
 Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and how they can be used in hiring staff
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
 A collaborative and ‘can-do’ approach to work
 A sound knowledge of residential language and activity programmes

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience of working with children
  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
