Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:



General workshop and office assistant duties which will include: 




  • Order processing,  picking and compiling

  • Packing and distribution of parcels, including use of franking machine

  • Record keeping, stock and sales

  • Invoicing

  • Message taking

  • Customer liaison, using email, social media and telephone

  • Supplier liaison - restocking, invoicing and chasing

  • Some marketing responsibilities, including website updating, use of photoshop etc  will be included for the right candidate

  • General office duties


Personal Qualities :

  • Honest.

  • Trustworthy.

  • Punctual.

  • Willing to learn and help.

  • Enthusiastic.

  • Polite.

  • Good interpersonal skills.



Skills Required :

  • Good English & Maths.

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and Word.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Social media savvy.

Future Prospects : There may be the opportunity to work towards a level 3 qualification and after that, a full time job with Alyssa Smith Jewellery LTD.
