Job Description
The operation of our back office functions is vital to the overall operation of our business. This role is designed to provide administrative and clerical support to a number of our back office teams including Human Resources, Finance, ICT and the Executive Office.
Based in our headquarters in Holmes Chapel, the main duties will include assisting customers by telephone or in person, providing administration support, undertaking financial transactional work, assisting in organising events, meetings and training. You will combine learning new skills with putting into practice a variety of specialities as part of a recognised qualification NVQ level 2 in Business Administration.
This role will be an ideal starting point for someone interested in a career in business administration and support and will give a thorough all round perspective of the operations of our business enabling the apprentices to identify specific areas of business that they may wish to specialise in.
Our Business Support apprentices will receive a full programme of training alongside their apprenticeship preparing them for the varied role being undertaken.
At the end of this apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to develop your career further with some more area specific qualifications and roles.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to deal confidently with members of staff and the general public.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to be a role model for growing and leading a strong team ethic and culture within a workplace.
- Well organised, reliable, conscientious and have good attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate the ability to organise tasks, prioritise and be able to plan work to timescales and deadlines, organising your own time to achieve targets and goals.
- Good knowledge of computer use and a familiarity with Microsoft office applications
