Job Description
Responsibilities of the Hub Apprentice:
In addition to the formal apprenticeship training, you will receive hands on experience including mentoring and coaching from experienced members of the team.
There will be a rotational work programme to gain experience of supporting numerous different aspects of the Highways Sector business including:
- Designing
- Planning and programming
- Control hub
- Operations
- Quality and performance management
- Commercial and estimating
- Health and Safety

Skills Required :
Requirements of the Hub Apprentice:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, grades A-C
- Good standards of written and verbal communication
- IT literate
- Able to work in a team
- Willingness to learn
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and organised
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Customer service skills
- Telephone skills
Future Prospects : 92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer ongoing development tracks.
