Job Description

Position: Head of ApprenticeshipsLocation: EalingSalary: 35,000 + BonusPurpose of the role:The main purpose of this role is to manage apprenticeship and traineeship in order to satisfy the financial, contractual, operational, quality and growth targetsKey responsibilities: Fulfilling and optimising the potential of all contracts. Operational management KPI's Contract and quality compliance. Health and safety management and compliance with legal and contractual requirements. The development and management of new initiatives. To achieve an OFSTED GRADE 2 +. To provide accurate and timely information to the board of directors.Key duties: To monitor business performance and undertake relevant action to address under performance and/or non-compliance. To monitor and ensure compliance with quality procedures and processes. To monitor and ensure adherence to funding contracts, inspectorate and awarding body policies, processes and procedures. To develop and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies and other key organisations. To provide information, on a monthly basis, on business performance to the Board. To agree and set performance targets and personal objectives, on a periodic basis, to satisfy both personal advancement and company goals. To monitor individual employee performance and provide support and guidance to optimise potential. To undertake appraisals in line with company practice. To investigate and take action on customer complaints. To support external quality assurance and awarding body audit processes. To maintain and develop internal and external communications processes. To undertake projects and initiatives as directed by the Board. To ensure team members are conversant with company policies, procedures and process and ensure compliance. To diversify the business streams for growth. To undertake accident reporting and investigation and risk assessments. To ensure that colleagues and learners are safeguarded against all types of bullying or abuse.
