Job Description

The role will involve the following tasks:

  • Assist the Manager & Deputy Manager in the daily running of the shop.
  • Take responsibility for the operation of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manger (once fully trained)
  • Help with daily tasks like sorting & pricing
  • Deal with financial matters and some relevant paperwork
  • Supervise & train other volunteers
  • Till work, merchandising and general administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Current or newly graduated students

    Essential:

    • Should be able to work at least one day at the weekend
    • Honesty, reliability, integrity and commitment to the shop and Oxfam’s values.
    • Capable of motivating teams as well as being able to work on your own.
    • Hard working and a willingness to learn.

    · Enjoy working in a friendly, fun and diverse team.

    Desirabe but not essential:

    • Be studying for a Business related degree
    • Have worked in a shop before
