Job Description
S&B Automotive Academy are seeking to recruit a Business Development Apprentice to support the work of Business Development Team; this is a key customer service role supporting a wide range of activities, events and administration within a busy team.
Successful applicants will have the chance to work across the team getting involved in all aspects of customer service, and business administration within a busy and diverse team. The successful candidate will study towards a Business Administration Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily management of CRM recruitment system - Inputting data, searching for apprentice applicants etc.
- Use of Social media to advertise & promote current vacancies & events
- Working closely with Sales consultants to prepare & format CV’s.
- Posting apprenticeship vacancies on job advertising websites.
- Answering the telephone to take enquiries and pass to relevant person
- Creating documents for new business development and loading the client details onto the data system
- Sending out correspondence to candidates / Clients regarding interviews
- Attend industry events with vocation career consultants to promote the business.
- Attend School career events with vocation career consultants to promote S&B to young people.
- Shadow vocation career consultants on appointments to understand the sales process.
- To assist with marketing and promotion of all programmes through attending events both on and off site.
- Carry out all associated organisational or administrative tasks for the assessment process
- Undergo any self-development and training as necessary for success in the role.
- To work with the IQA’s to ensure the assessment documentation is stored for maximum ease of access of documents as required by the awarding bodies.
- Act as an ambassador of S&B Automotive Academy at all times whilst undertaking your role, particularly when dealing with employers, external clients and workplace representatives.
- Actively promote and market the Academy and present a positive image of the Academy and its activities.
- Process, file and record candidate paperwork
- To administer candidate applications
- To administer candidate claims following the assessment process
- To work with awarding body to ensure that the assessment process runs as needed.
- Completion and recording of student registrations with Awarding Bodies.
Hours : 37 per week: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Starting wage - £5 per hour
Holidays - 20 days plus the Academy is closed for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year
