Job Introduction:

Are you looking for a little bit of excitement and a change fromyour usual routine? If so, then the G4S Events Team would like to hear from you in relation to our current vacanciesat The Grand National 2017, which will be held at Aintree Race Course, Liverpool on the 6th, 7th and 8th of April.

You do NOT need an SIA License to work at this event, as the role is one of a customer care nature, nor do you need any previous experience, as full training will be provided.

In addition to working at The Grand National in April, there will also be opportunities for you to workat some of the most prestigious events in Liverpool and across the UK in the New Year.

These opportunities could see you working at large scale events such as The Golf Open Championship, Download Festival, British Summertime - Hyde Park Festival,T in the Park, football and cricket matches as well as all race meetings at Aintree and Haydock Racecourses.

Role Responsibility:

As a customer care event steward you will be helping in all manner of ways including, but not limited to:

  • Ticket checking
  • Directing patrons
  • Crowd monitoring
  • Hospitality and car park stewarding
  • Providing general guidance to the public.

The Ideal Candidate:

You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

You DO NOT need a SIA Licence to work as a customer care event steward.

Ideally you will have customer service experience (although this is not essential, as training will be provided) with a common sense approach to working with the public. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable yet professional attitude through excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Flexibility is also important as shifts can fall on evenings and weekends.
