ENGINEER APPRENTICESHIPS (MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE) - MORRISONS MANUFACTURING SITES - COMPETITIVE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS
We are currently recruiting Engineer Apprentices for our manufacturing operation at Farmer's Boy in Bradford. Morrisons is much, much more than a big food retailer. We're also the UK's second largest fresh food manufacturer and it's the job of our engineering team to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes. Farmers Boy began production in 1980 and moved to a state of art building in 1999. Our Bradford site is part of the ‘Farmers Boy’ family and is all about food processing- quiche, cheese, pies and so much more! It is the biggest Fresh Foods factory in the UK with 6 operations under one roof.

This is a great place to develop your technical skills and learn to become a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
You'll get right into the action in a paid job while we support you in obtaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance.
Lasting 4 years, our Apprenticeship programme is the ideal springboard for an exciting career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing. Offering a unique combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing.
General duties will include:
- Working alongside and assisting experienced Maintenance Engineers
- Use hand tools, powers tools, machines and equipment
- Following Company Health & Safety procedures
Training will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at Reaseheath College in Cheshire; one of the UK's leading land based colleges.
To apply you'll need to be aged 16+ and have achieved or be predicted a GCSE Level 6 (Grade B) in Maths, Level 5 (Grade C) in Science and Level 5 (Grade C) in English.
