Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Follow the requirements of the Apprenticeship Framework
- Report any risks observed to their supervisor
- Assist with ensuring a safety culture amongst specialist contractors
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with quality standards
- Awareness of cost constraints and appreciate how they impact on assigned tasks
- Assist in providing technical and quality control records in line with BMS procedures
- Translate design information effectively and accurately
- Develop an understanding of the Business Management System and how this applies to allocated tasks
- Assist in the monitoring and recording of progress on a daily basis and provide information to supervisors for onward short-term planning
- Live the Balfour Beatty Values
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm (Health and Safety)
- Assist in designing new electrical equiptment
- Assist the team in solving problems for electrical equiptment
- Assist in electrical testing of equiptment

- Proven ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- You will have a have a friendly, flexible approach to your working day and a willingness to work with and support colleagues

Skills Required :
Desirable:
- Proficiency in administration, writing, numeracy, IT and MS Office
- A valid CSCS card
Future Prospects : Once your apprenticeship finishes, you may be given the opportunity to work with Balfour Beatty on a full time role.
