Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



• To take food and beverage orders and ensure correct billing.

• To deal with all Guests politely and with courtesy

• To greet all guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.

• To check and prepare all stations and dumb waiters for service.

• To check counter service area (if applicable), to ensure foods are displayed correctly and reserve supplies are available.

• To deliver food to guests as per the standard

• Operate whichever station/area is allocated to you – ensuring Guest satisfaction at all times.

• Clear and relay as necessary to the set Belfry standard.

• To service lounge or bar area when directed.

• To prepare room service orders when necessary.

• To make preparations for service i.e. cleaning schedules, slice lemons.

• To serve food as necessary

• To wash and polish glasses as required.

• To have a full working knowledge of the menus offered and presentation and preparation of all drinks served

• To ensure the department is kept clean and tidy and operational hygiene is maintained.

• To minimise breakages of crockery and glassware.

• To ensure the kitchen service area is kept tidy at all times

• To report any incident likely to cause complaint to a Supervisor/Manager.

• To undertake any reasonable task as requested by management.

• To be flexible and work to agreed rotas and be punctual for duty

• To adhere to all hygiene regulations and disability awareness regulations at all times.

• To ensure standards of appearance are maintained at all times, including wearing a name badge.

• To strictly observe all licensing act regulations.



OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out other duties that may be necessary from time to time.

• Ensure that correct security measures are taken at all times
