Job Description


  • Communication with Clients/Staff and applicants on the phone, face to face and by email.

  • To ensure that the newly completed CRB applications are well checked before we send them off to the CRB office for processing.

  • To assist with the calculation of time sheet hours and payroll accordingly,

  • Take Minutes of meeting if and when necessary,

  • To assist in conducting Care and office Management training on behalf of potential candidates.

  • Work closely with other staff/Client/Applicant and other agencies.

  • Checking applicants’ references and making sure references are well confirmed.

  • Making sure that applicants files are up to date and reminder sent out for future update of their files.

  • Work as a member of a team contributing to the success and ongoing development of the company.

  • Make sure we ring the Care Homes/clients regularly for more contracts and to chase up our agency staff currently working. To make sure that the agency is updated by the Care Home Managers of how staff are performing.

  • Help and support to staff if and when necessary.

  • Work within the equal opportunities and diversity framework as the agency is involved with different races.

  • Promote a progressive approach towards Equal Opportunities and committed to recognising diversity in service provision and employment to ensure that they are soundly understood and fully implemented.

  • To assist in checking and calculating time sheet of employees and Pay roll system. To ensure that staff are not under/short pay.

  • Assist in staff training and development.

  • Provide good advice to new and existing staff.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally on the telephone with staff/other agencies and Care Homes.

  • Ability to write reports and case note clearly and concisely must be flexible and reliable.

  • Write letters and report and mail merge of letters.

  • To undertake any other duties as assigned by the agency.

Personal Qualities :

  • Good Knowledge of Excel spread sheet and formation of data.

  • Work well under pressure most of the time and meet strict deadlines especially when you are faced with many things at a time.

  • Refrain from making/receiving personal phone calls unless necessary and must be brief unless during your break time.

  • Good knowledge of Word.

  • Be responsible as you may be in office alone at times.

  • Well presented.

  • Approachable.



Skills Required :

  • Be able to be familiar and understand the Employment laws and legislations.

  • Observe the highest possible standards in relation to confidentiality and the provisions of Data Protection legislation.
