Job Description

This is a wonderful opportunity for a student to receive on-the-job training, within a multi-national, dynamic and fast moving corporate environment, whilst continuing part time studies in a Business Administration course through a locally identified college. This will enable them to hone their academic skills (ensuring real opportunities for personal growth and career progression). 



Successful applicants will continually develop their administration skills whilst being allocated a senior member of the team who will provide mentoring during the development period (typically over a 2 year programme). Study will be funded – whilst the individual earns an income as a permanent employee of AECOM.



This role is open to school leavers and those seeking a career change.



A normal day will include:




  • To provide a full range of administrative support to the office as a whole. This would include covering reception when receptionist is on leave or on lunch.

  • Travel bookings, copy typing, photocopying and scanning.

  • To take over the work experience programme and run with it.

Skills Required :

Excellent ICT skills - MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

High attention to detail

Confident in dealing with people - Develop relationships with internal Admin teams

Well organised – able to plan and structure day to be efficient

Customer Service – A willingness to help others

Previous experience of working/performing in a team environment– Comfortable sharing ideas and working with the team to implement changes would be an advantage

Enjoy problem solving – ability to review the problem and work through issues to seek a resolution



Future Prospects : Possible progression within the company and progression onto the next level apprenticeship.
