Job Description


  • To be responsible for maintenance and development of company ERP software. which is predominantly EXCEL based. This software is used to calculate up-to-date pricing across a wide spectrum of metrics.

  • To be responsible for the integration and maintenance of the new company stock system.

  • To work closely with management & directors to create and implement new systems and processes to optimise and increase production and business performance.

  • To be responsible for the maintenance of the company website working with relevant members of staff to ensure website is kept up to date with new content.

  • To assist with CNC programming and related CAD tasks.

  • To be responsible for working with other members of staff for monitoring of all incoming stock for Trade and Retail departments using relevant hardware and software.

  • To work with the retail department on a weekly basis to assist with tasks relating to orders including CAD drawings, 3D drawings, ordering stock and recording trade sales 

  • Ensure all Health & Safety practices, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and that you minimise any potential risk to yourself and others at all times. 

  • Ensure waste is kept to a minimum by economical use of all materials including energy, reducing errors and eliminating rework.

  • Ensure all working areas are tidied and cleaned after use and in accordance with company policy.

  • New Stock system is integrated into the business and its use is optimised in all departments of the company.

  • Any areas of the business where technology can increase business performance are reviewed and cost efficient systems are quickly integrated

  • Company ERP cost building software is kept up to date and is being optimised throughout the business.

  • Company website has increasing number of visitors and is converting visitors to leads for sales team to follow up.

  • Undertake any training deemed relevant to your position or future development of the Company and yourself.

  • Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities required of the individual at the time, which is deemed reasonable and for which appropriate training, development and support has been given so that the individual can perform the tasks safely and effectively.

Skills Required :

  • Must be physically capable of undertaking the role and in accordance with all Health & Safety requirements.

  • A team player, with attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and analyse and interpret information, both in written and verbal format.

  • Must hold relevant qualifications for the industry or have experience in a similar role.

  • A positive and optimistic temperament with the ability to communicate well with others and have an aptitude for delivering excellent customer service at all times.

  • Be flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks at short notice, where necessary, undertaking relevant training and development in order to carry out the tasks effectively.

  • Basic arithmetic knowledge, language and written skills are essential.

  • IT skills are essential in Microsoft Office, email, internet with CAD programmes are essential.

  • Good written and spoken communication skills

  • Friendly and sociable nature and enjoy working with others

  • Good time keeper yet flexible with working hours
