If you enjoy working with your hands and have a strong interest in Manufacturing, here’s a great opportunity for YOU to make it mean a lot more: a career with a real future.

Our Manufacturing operations are mission-critical to the success of globally admired brands like our Mars Bars, Snickers and Maltesers. Our $33bn family owned company also produces other iconic brands such as Uncle Ben’s, Whiskas and Wrigley’s.

On a Manufacturing Apprenticeship with Mars, you’ll learn how to make those world-famous products and use our state-of-the-art machinery, all whilst earning money from day one.

The Manufacturing Apprenticeship scheme is one of many apprenticeships at Mars; so you’ll be joining lots of other like-minded people. And in addition to taking part in training courses and team-building events, you’ll be given genuine responsibility. So, at the end, you could find yourself in one of many roles, with some of our former apprentices now managing key equipment and a few have gone on to manage operations or engineering teams.

Your future is wide open! To rise to the challenge, you will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in engineering and technology, enjoy problem solving, and working with your hands. You’ll need five good GCSEs, including English and either Maths or a Science A-C or 4-9. A flexible approach and an interest in engineering are important and you’ll also need to be a great team player and communicator, with the motivation to get results.

To apply for the Manufacturing Apprenticeship, please attach your CV and include a brief cover letter detailing why you think you’d be right for a career in Manufacturing Operations. We’d love to read about your hobbies related to the program. For example, you enjoy fixing your bicycle or car at the weekend or how you have a passion for understanding how things work.

The deadline for applications for the Manufacturing Apprenticeship is 15th March 2017. APPLY now.
