Job Description

A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core are work preparation training, English and Math's for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement.



Traineeships help unlock your great potential and give you the work preparation training, Math's and English and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job.

The Business Administration Trainee will have similar duties to a General Office Clerk. The following roles and responsibilities will be given:

-Reception cover- taking incoming calls, telephone messages, transferring calls to solicitors. 

- Office Administration- photocopying and scanning, sorting incoming post and franking outgoing mail, archiving client files, diary management 

- Customer Service- welcoming customers to the business, taking card payments, dealing with queries over the telephone. 





Where applicable the trainee will be given training and the opportunity to work on:

-Organising paperwork for court bundles 

Training on customer accounts 


Personal Qualities :

The right candidate for the role will be:

-Friendly and helpful

- Eager to learn new skills 

- Be able to relate well with people from a diverse background 



Skills Required :

As a Trainee you will be required to possess the following skills:

-Effective communication both verbal and non-verbal

- Literate and Numerate 

- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Packages 

- Able to follow instructions 



Future Prospects : Williscroft & Co Solicitors are seeking a candidate who has long term career goals to work within the industry and for the right candidate the Traineeship may progress to an Apprenticeship.
