Job Description
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Administer telephone orders/queries politely and accurately ensuring that the office maintains a response rate to agreed standards.
- Administer incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with updating and maintaining the Orderwise customer and prospect database.
- Ensure the stationary cupboard is kept tidy and informing the Purchase Team on a regular basis when items need re-ordering.
- Respond to, enter and follow up sales orders and enquiries using appropriate methods. Use customer activities tools & systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate methods. Use sales methods, quotations and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, customer and satisfaction.
- Assist with manning the Showroom and assisting all customers in a friendly professional manner.
- Ensure that filing systems are kept up to date, ensuring information can be found a referred to with ease and speed.
- Communicate,liaise and negotiate internally with all necessary departments using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
