Design & Marketing Apprentice (Creative Pioneers Position)

Design Pit Ltd are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual, who would like to learn whilst actively working for a growing graphic design and branding company. The role is based in Lichfield and will focus on digital marketing, amending and finishing artwork for design projects and general office tasks.



Responsibilities and tasks for the role will include:



Digital Marketing:

• Day to day running of company social media accounts, Facebook and Twitter.


• Establishing whether there is a need for a presence on Instagram and if so, creating a functioning account.


• Implementing and developing a strategy across all social media platforms to increase bottom line through active engagement.

Design/Artworking:

• Amending and adjusting existing client artwork and prepping for production.


• Input to developing ideas and concepts for creative design tasks with studio team.


• Image sourcing and research for design projects to support studio team.

General Office:

• Supplier liaison – sourcing quotations, managing production of project work and sourcing new suppliers.


• Client liaison – assisting with management of deadlines and customer service/feedback calls.


• Filing, stock replenishment, diary management, answering phones and supporting studio team and creative director.

• Telephone etiquette – friendly and helpful demeanour


• Willingness to embrace change and “get stuck in”


• Ability to think independently and work within a team

• Strong timekeeping and reliability are essential


• A strong understanding of social media platforms and how they work on a commercial level


• Strong literacy and numeracy skills


• Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills required


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
