Job Description
The successful candidates will be expected to work closely with colleagues across the whole business and show self-motivation, confidentiality and professionalism at all times. They must have a commitment to their own personal development and a genuine desire to work in a fast paced role with a range of generalist HR duties.
- You’ll get to grips with an in house HR and payroll system, learning key skills in data management and the importance of maintaining up to date employee records.
- As the first point of contact for many email and telephone queries, you’ll develop strong customer service and communication skills whilst meeting people from a range of roles across the business.
- The People Team hold a range of events over the year and you’ll be key in supporting in their preparation and administration.
- You’ll also get to attend an induction event in your first few months.
- There will be a strong element of administrative work, from owning the production of monthly reports to looking after our intranet and expenses pages – you will have excellent organisational skills by the end of the apprenticeship.
- You’ll support in a range of HR meetings; taking notes, contributing ideas and learning about the challenges of a busy People Department.
- There will also be a chance to participate in a range of ad hoc tasks, and you’ll be encouraged to identify any areas you’d like to gain more experience in.
