Job Description
The role of Early Years Instructor is to deliver outstanding, structured activities to groups of Early Years children (Ultimate Activity Juniors) on our Ultimate Activity Camps. Alongside the Early Years Manager, you will be expected to deliver (with supporting resources), fun and challenging activities to children aged between 4-5 years.
These activities must follow EYFS requirements for learning and development, with the emphasis being on participation and quality. You will also have a pastoral role, being the group leader and key contact for one of the groups of children on camp.
With camps running in all school holidays we are continuously recruiting talented candidates to work for us in Easter, Summer and Half Term seasons!
October half term dates are: Monday 24th October - Friday 28th October
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 4-5, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
• Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Help to set up The Ultimate Activity Camp by attending a Camp Induction Day.
• Take a pastoral role as a group leader, welcoming new children into your group and liaising with the EY Manager and/or parents as necessary.
• Supervision of children outside of activity times.
• Other ad-hoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance/inventory etc.)
Requirements:
• Qualified in or working towards relevant Coaching or Teaching Qualification, with experience working with children.
• Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with, and developing children through Sport.
• Confident instructor, able to adjust delivery and structure according to age and ability.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.

Please note all of our camps are non-residential. All of our staff must be able to travel to/ from camp daily.
