Job Description
Key Objectives of Role:
- To produce accurate and detailed technical drawings;
- Assist with other engineering requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the main requirements of the role are:
- To produce accurate and detailed drawings from an initial brief;
- Modify existing drawings to bring them up to current specification;
- Use Autodesk Inventor to create drawing work;
- Assist with producing bills of materials and parts lists;
- Assist with product redesign to continuously improve Meech products;
- Liaise with suppliers to discuss drawings and requirements;
- Work closely with other members of the Engineering and Production teams.
Qualifications

Essential:
- 3D Cad experience – preferably Autodesk Inventor but Solidworks / Pro E would be acceptable.
Desirable:
- CAD related course backing up experience i.e BTEC/BCS/City & Guilds
- Previous Engineering experience – Preferably Mechanical
- Knowledge of material properties
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
- Good communication skills
- Good with deadlines
- If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
- You must be able to speak English fluently
