Seed Staff employ thousands of positions each year across the events industry.


We work with some of the UK’s biggest music festivals, sporting events and local community festivals. We are currently looking for people to staff the Investec Derby on the 4th of June

The Event

The Epsom Derby weekend is one of the biggest and most prestigious events of the horse racing calendar. Featuring the world famous Epsom Ladies day where elegant, fashionable racegoers gather for a classic day’s racing at Epsom with many competing to win the much sought after title of ‘Best Dressed Lady’. This is followed the day after by The Investec Derby which has one of the biggest prize in money in UK racing, matched only by the prestige that victory brings.

How Do I get Involved?

Thousands of people will be attending over the two day event your job will be to ensure the safety of spectators and that certain rules and regulations are enforced.

Whatever position or role you are allocated, you’ll need to be fully committed. Your role will start early or finish late, but every role is crucial to the success of the event.

There may be some challenges along the way but we will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable with. During your shift, supervisors will be on hand to manage your welfare and listen to any concerns you may have.

  • Know your surroundings-Customers will ask you for directions so familiarise yourself with the location and availability to facilities.

  • Knowing emergency procedures and other key information which will be provided in a briefing.

  • Remain professional, polite and positive throughout your shift - Do your best in every situation but if you are not sure ask.

  • Do not leave you position without speaking to a supervisor.

  • Please refrain from using your phone, smoking or eating your lunch while on position or in front of customers while wearing uniform high-visibility jackets.

  • If your are not sure about anything please ask your supervisors, they are there to help.

Travel

Rail Travel: The closest Rail Station is Tattenham Corner (regular trains from Victoria and London Bridge via East Croydon). This station is located in London Zone 6 making it affordable from London, however you will need to get an early train.

Saturday 4th: 0930 - 19:30

  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
