Job Description
The role of Activity Instructor is to deliver outstanding, structured art activities to groups of children on our Ultimate Activity Camps.
You will be expected to deliver (with supporting resources) activities to children aged between 6 and 14 years, with the emphasis being on participation, structure, and development. You will also have a pastoral role, being the group leader and key contact for one of the groups of children on camp.
With camps running in all school holidays we are continuously recruiting talented candidates to work for us in Easter, Summer and Half Term seasons!

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver Art activities for children aged 6-14, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
• Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Help to set up The Ultimate Activity Camp by attending a Camp Induction Day
• Take a pastoral role as a group leader, welcoming new children into your group and liaising with the Camp Manager and/or parents as necessary.

Requirements
• Qualified in or working towards relevant Art or Teaching Qualification, with experience working with children.
• Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with, and developing children through Art.
• Confident instructor, able to adjust delivery and structure according to age and ability.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
• Someone looking for a challenging, different but hugely rewarding and fun job in the holidays, and looking to further their career in the childcare and coaching industry
Please note all of our camps are non-residential. All of our staff must be able to travel to/ from camp daily.

- If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
- You must be able to speak English fluently
