Job Description
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist the head chef in the preparation of all food.
- Assist with the storage & control of food deliveries.
- Maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Adhere to food hygiene, fire, health and safety regulations.
- Work within a team to support the smooth running of the restaurant
- Ensure that all food leaving the kitchen is of a high standard & hot.
- Maintain a high standard of customer care at all times & contribute to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
- Take part in festivals and weekly themed nights.
- As you progress you will assist with menu development.

Skills Required :
- Basic knowledge in Catering
- Able to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively with all team members.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and to work to a high standard.
- Able to work confidently and efficiently around customers.
- Some knowledge or understanding of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety matters in relation to food service.
- A Food Hygiene certificate desirable but not essential
Future Prospects : After successful completion of the apprenticeship a full time potion with the company will be a possibility.
