Job Description

HowTheLightGetsIn is the world's largest philosophy & music festival, hosted annually in the historic town of Hay-on-Wye. It has gained a reputation for its big ideas, debates and legendary party nights.

With stewarding applications now open, you can be a part of this fantastic event. The festival showcases some of the world's biggest names in politics, journalism, academia & show business. We are looking for fun & enthusiastic people to join our team of volunteers that help the festival tick. You will be working one shift a day, between 6 and 8 hours long.

The festival runs from 25th May - 5th June 2016. We can accept applications for stewards who can not commit to the full festival, but those who can do longer periods will have the advantage in the application process.

To apply click 'Apply Now' and send a CV and cover letter stating what qualifications you have that make you suitable for the role. If successful, stewards need to pay a £50 deposit to confirm their place, returned to them on return of their uniform and completion of their shifts.
