Job Description

Block Management & Property Specialists Ltd in Walton Vale are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join their expanding company. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.



They will be predominantly working in the administration department, looking after diary appointments, organising files (including disposal), generating client lists, mail shots, compliance submission for mortgages, ID scanning etc. List is endless. They will also be able to work on a couple of other project I am working on – including training and events like the Festival I am launching next month!



Ideally a candidate needs to be motivated, logical thinking, chatty and confident. There will be times when the Apprentice will need to generate work for themselves, so someone who likes to be busy. When the apprenticeship is over – there is scope for them to progress into Mortgages through me if this is something that interests them. I’m looking for someone who wants a career in property and finance – or someone who is naturally good admin to remain in an admin role if they prefer.



  • Photocopying, scanning, use of email and telephone

  • Open, sort and distribute incoming post.

  • Prepare outgoing post for dispatch.

  • Local errands e.g. Post Office, Court, Barristers, etc.

  • Assisting on and improving all social media sites and marketing

  • Filing and some correct desposal of spent files.

  • Telephone chasers to clients and other parties

  • Locate and prepare files for fee earners upon request.

  • Manage delivery of stationery stock and distribute accordingly.

  • Archive closed files, collate reports, research.

  • Maintain a safe and tidy workinig environment

  • Any other ad-hoc administrative office duties.

  • Submitting mortgage applications after manager has met with prospective client.

  • Checking ID and submitting.

  • Preferably very good on Excel.

  • Can lend a hand to some sales.

  • Scanning, posting and reminding client to complete and return paperwork.

  • Prepared to learn to use a Mortgage specific software and data base.

  • To be able to work in this industry two multiple choice tests/exams have to be passed.

Future Prospects : Once the full apprenticeship framework is achieved, employees will be ready to further their career and it may be possible to progress to a higher level apprenticeship.
