Job Description
Our client quarries, manufactures and supplies a wide range of heavy building materials to the construction industry.
They are looking to recruit a Graduate to be trained into a Client Representative to work from their site in Leicestershire.
The main objective of this role is to work as part of a team dealing with credit management.
Duties will include
Cash collection which is mainly by telephone.
Dispute resolution
Some cash allocation
Attendance at regional credit meetings.
Visiting customers to assist with reconciliations etc.
Responsible for a section of the ledger with your own customers.
They are looking for an experienced credit controller who is ICM qualified or part qualified or a graduate who will be expected to qualify with the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
2.1 or 1st class degree in Finance or Accounting
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work to strict deadlines and timetables
Good telephone manner
Analytical problem solving abilities
Proficient Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Driving licence
